Manuka Honey & Ginger Hot Toddy

Serves 1

●      3 slices ginger (about 4g)

●      45ml whiskey

●      15ml lemon juice

●      15ml Manuka Emporium’s Manuka honey

  1. Place 150ml water in a small saucepan and add the ginger and honey. Whisk to combine, then set over a medium heat. Bring to a bubble, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 10 minutes to infuse, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  2. Pour into a heatproof glass or mug, and stir in the whiskey and lemon juice. Garnish with a lemon slice and lemon zest if desired, and enjoy hot.
